The Met Office have published their winter 2007/8 predictions. Looks like it’s going to be another mild one. From they’re saying, it’s going to be near normal winter temperatures at the start of the season with it becoming milder as it progresses. So we might see above average temperatures later in the season. Last winter (2006/7) was the second warmest since 1914 so anything colder than that won’t be hard to produce.

I was hoping to take the winter ML training in the Cairngorms later in the season so I’ll be keeping an eye on the weather.
