Just struggled over to the co-op to stock up as there is loads more snow forecast. Never seen so much snow on the Red Cuillin and also never seen the sight I saw this morning. The gritter came down the road with one of the blokes walking in front of it scattering grit! It’s icy today! There’s a bit of a freeze/thaw cycle coming at the weekend so hopefully I’ll pull my finger out and make an ascent of the Grade I gully that splits the east face of Blaven this winter. Goes straight from the coire to the summit ridge. Canny wait!
