the weathers gone mental
Tue, Feb 1, 2011
There’s a string of low pressure zones and a front stretching right across the Atlantic and linking us with Canada at the moment and the chart for Thursday is looking interesting.
MWIS is forecasting 90mph winds in the North West Highlands with the freezing level varying wildly over the next few days. 750m on Tuesday, to above the summits on Wednesday and way back down to 450m on Thursday. All the while, the weather will be oscillating between heavy rain and rapid thaw to heavy snow. A thoroughly “interesting” few days!
