So how do you get rich on the one hand, while taking the utter pish out of the taxpayer with the other? Not to mention trashing the environment in the name of “saving our collective arses”? You open a windfarm. First you get a load of subsidies from a grateful population fearful of their globally warmed futures. You then destroy the environment and run the turbines for a couple of years to cream off some nice profits then sell on the environmental obligations to some other spiv outfit. Then. And this is the pish takers’ wet dream. You get paid to NOT PRODUCE electricity! You sit on your fat spiv arse and cream it off the taxpayer. You really really couldn’t make this shite up.
