damn their tory eyes

I knew it would be bad when the Tories got in and indeed their ham fisted rule that favours their stockbroker mates resulted in almost instant riots. But they also have a rather sinister attitude to the environment that goes along the lines of owning it and everything in it and therefore claiming the right to kill everything in it too. That is the monstrosity that is the tories. We’ve become used to good news on the environment front over the years with the CROW act for England and Wales, devolution for Scotland and the banning of the hideous tory pastime of tearing foxes alive with packs of baying hounds.  But now the tory monster has been breathed new life by fools south of the border and it’s becoming evident nothing has changed. The Spineless Democrats are next to useless to rein in this abomination and now Cameron has decreed that protected species are no longer protected when it comes to his mates’ sporting rights.

DEFRA has been infected by the tory disease and is to allow gamekeepers to smash Buzzard nests and imprison the birds for the rest of their lives in order to allow the chinless freaks who arguably caused this entire economic mess to run riot through the fields blasting pheasant out of existence. Buzzards are protected species unless you’re a tory. This makes me so angry and sick to my stomach that a government department is taking my tax monies and using them to destroy protected species. Whether it’s in the name of ‘rural jobs’ or chinless freaks having fun is irrelevant. Buzzards are protected species and to kill them for the profit of stockbrokers, bankers and assorted ne’er-do-wells must surely be illegal.

I’m just sick of tories. There is reputedly one of them in Scotland. England is infested with them and look at the state of their environment. Scotland has its problems, granted but we got rid of a lot of these freaks a long time ago. Destructive idiots like Osgood MacKenzie who turned the north into a desert and left a pile of trees as compensation. His like wouldn’t get away with it now but his spirit lives on south of the border.

No doubt those south of the wall will start complaining about wind farms in Scotland and people in glass houses etc. But the fundamental difference is the Scottish government isn’t deliberately destroying protected species in order to build wind farms. Wind farms may be dubious if in the wrong location but there is no comparison with the tory way of doing things. Is there a consultation? Is there scientific input to show what will happen should the trapping go ahead? No. There is Cameron telling his appallingly useless sidekick to do it. So if you’re thinking of bringing up wind farms, don’t bother.

Damn this bill and damn their tory eyes.
